The Vigo County Conservation Club is a non-profit organization with 358 acres of land and lakes located east of
Terre Haute and west of Brazil, in Vigo County, Indiana. The purpose of the VCCC is to promote and protect the
trees, shrubs and lakes. Also to guard against poachers so the wildlife can live and roam freely on our grounds. We are dedicated to conserving nature and providing the club members with a beautiful
place to spend time in the great outdoors, discover friendships with others and enjoy life.
There is a club house on site, an old log cabin, a campground, hiking trails, 3 lakes for fishing, 300 plus acres
of woods, a Native American village area, an arbor, a playground, and a 19th century graveyard.
Some of our events include a Spot Shoot on the first and third Saturdays each month. Our annual events include a free Kids Fishing Rodeo in June, four Flea Markets and Pancake Breakfasts on the fourth Saturday of May, June, July and August, and A Gathering of the People Powwow the fourth weekend in September. We also have private events for members only, such as parties for the holidays, carry
in luncheons, and the members can rent the club house and grounds for private parties. Meetings are on the first Saturday
of each month March through November at 1:00. Club membership applications are
accepted at the meetings and require a current police report.
On this site you'll find information about
our activities and facilities. We hope you will find all of the information you are looking for about the Vigo County
Conservation Club; if not, please feel free to contact us.
