On September 21, we held the fourth Powwow Education Day field trip for nearly

was a wonderful cultural learning event, the children really enjoyed the hands on experiences and learning about the dances
and lifestyles of Native Americans, specifically the Woodland Indians from this area We would like to thank all those who
helped make this a day to remember for these children. (We are currently taking
reservations for third grade classes for the 2008 Education Day on September 26, please call 812-877-4251 for requests)
Thanks to the Minority Health Coalition and ISU nursing students who provided
free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings on Saturday, September 22. We would also like to thank James Alexander Thom
