Welcome to the Vigo County Conservation Club’s Web Site.
The Vigo County Conservation Club is a non-profit organization with
358 acres of land and lakes located east of Terre Haute and west of Brazil, in Vigo County, Indiana.
The purpose of the VCCC
is to promote and protect the trees, shrubs and lakes. Also to guard against poachers so the wildlife can live and roam
freely on our grounds. We are dedicated to conserving
nature and providing the club members with a beautiful place to spend time in the great outdoors, discover friendships
with others and enjoy life. There is a club house on site, an old log cabin, a campground, hiking trails, 3 lakes
for fishing, 300 plus acres of woods, a Native American village area, an arbor, a playground, and a 19th century
graveyard. Some of our events include a Spot Shoot on the first and third Saturdays each month and A Gathering of the People Powwow the fourth weekend in September. We also have private events for members, such as parties for the holidays, carry in luncheons, fishing rodeo, and members can rent the club house and grounds for private parties. Meetings are on the first Saturday
of each month March through November at 1:30 with a carry in lunch at noon. For more information about
club events go to the 2012 calendar of events here. Club
membership applications are accepted at the meetings and require a current certified written police report. See
our new member page here. On this site you'll find information about our activities and facilities. We hope you will find
all of the information you are looking for about the Vigo County Conservation Club; if not, please feel free to contact us. Vigo
